The welcoming lounge has comfy Muskoka pine chairs grouped around a pink granite fireplace allowing you to socialize, read from our great collection of books, listen to CD's or play Scrabble. There are toys and books for children of all ages. Sunny windows, plants, and art make this a cozy refuge no matter the weather. A lovely place to spend an evening. Across the room is our breakfast area, beautifully furnished by local craftsmen. Breakfasts include juice, fresh fruit, cereal, a delectable hot entrée, home baked goods, toast, homemade jams, coffee and tea, as well as cheery smiles, music and bird songs. Enjoy the view of the gardens, the birdfeeder activity, and the deep blue of Fairy Lake. |
| Fairy Bay Guest House |
|
The Guest House was built in 1997 on the site of a resort called "Fairy Bay Cottages" established in the 30's. We have incorporated many special features designed to improve your comfort and to be environmentally friendly. These include:
|

| On the upper level, a large bright common room with couches and easy chairs, locally-made maple tables and a well-filled bookcase looks out a huge window into the trees and over Deerhurst Highland Golf Course. A wooden chess board is surrounded by a set of blue chairs for watching, reading or listening to CD's. Several posters, including a map of the fabulous Trans Canada Trail, and some paintings of Muskoka decorate the walls. |

In winter, this room becomes a heated change room, and a drying and storage area for snowmobile suits, skates and cross-country ski attire. |
